Two thumbs up to Dove for spending advertising dollars during the most prized airtime, the Superbowl, to promote their real beauty campaign. Now, I've been watching this campaign develop and I must admit that I was initially skeptical. However, the commercial that they aired during the Superbowl hit a nerve. As a former Girl Scout, the fact the Girl Scouts is part of this campaign has only fortified my belief in this effort. I hope that this campaign enables GSUSA to further their mission that "builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place." Just from the other commercials that aired, there is still a great deal of work to do.
