Alright, so I just told the world about not wanting to eat anything from an animal after watching Undercover TV. Now, I'm about to eat my left-overs from Seoul Garden, and it's bul ko ki- a beef dish. Not wanting to have that cow die in vain, I will eat the left-overs and not waste them. It'll be hard not remembering the images from last night's show. I also hope that the recent Mad Cow violation isn't reflective of the whole US beef industry. It would be my luck to feel guilty and get Mad Cow disease on top of it!
All the things you talk about are exactly the reasons I don't eat meat, haven't done so for almost 16 years. I don't eat anything you have to kill. I do eat eggs and dairy since the eggs are unfertilized and the cow is just being milked, not killed. I will try to cut back on those.
Most people don't think about what goes on at a slaughter house to get food to their plate and we don't need meat to survive. Many generations of my culture is proof of that.
